Festival Pump Stations

Commissioning:

This group of three pump stations move potable water to three pressure zones in West Central El Paso.  

Festival I Pump Station consisted in the installation of four vertical turbine pumps for a total capacity of 5.5 MGD production.  This project was phased so that interruption of water service was minimized.  An existing 1.0 million gallon water reservoir was upgraded with an additional 2.0 million gallon above-grade steel tank.  Project Cost: $1.8 Million

Festival II water pump station consisted of four vertical turbine pumps for a total capacity of 6.2 MGD production.  A new 2.5 million gallon underground concrete water reservoir was designed to include aesthic features blending the structure into the beautiful desert mountain environment.  Project Cost: $3.4 Million

Festival III water pump station consisted of five vertical turbine pumps for a total capacity of 1.2 MGD production.  This project also included the construction of a new 0.5 million gallon reservoir and one hydropneumatic tank.  This station was also designed to blend into the native environment.  Project Cost: $2.0 Million
