Forensics

Bath’s engineers have acted as expert witnesses in numerous legal matters that involved construction and/or engineering.  Using graphic software, they have studied delay claims and analyzed the impact disputed construction issues.  They have provided forensic engineering services in personal injury cases, critiqued flawed national standards, investigated fires to determine cause, analyzed electrical systems for safety, and studied construction projects to determine responsibility for delays and quality deficiencies.

Bath’s work has included on-site examination of physical evidence, laboratory tests, preparation of trial exhibits including charts and drawings, videotaping re-enactments of accidents, and the rendering of both oral and written opinions. 

When such work requires special equipment to measure the time, sequence, strength, or other circumstances of an event, Bath designs, installs, and operates custom equipment.

On several occasions, we have created computer simulations and/or three dimensional models for use in negotiations and trials.
