The U.S. Department of Homeland Security declared that protecting our nations seaport's is critical to ensuring the nation's homeland and economic security because 95% of the international cargo entering and leaving the United States passes through its ports.

It also singled out water utility systems for special programs to ensure the safety of the nation's domestic water.

Bath is proud of its role in the design of security systems for both ports and utilities.
