Intern - mechanical

Requirements:

• Mechanical engineering student.
• 2.85 GPA or better.
• Junior or Senior university classification only.  (Freshman and Sophomore need not apply.)
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week. 
• Seasonal position may be available (May through August).
• Must have passed or be currently enrolled in the following classes: Statics & Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics I & II

Preferences (but not requirements):

• AutoCAD proficient
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Description:

• Work as a member of a design team under the direct supervision of experienced mechanical engineers.
• Assist in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Assist in construction site visits and reports.
• Learn how to work in the consulting engineering field.
