Designer

We are seeking experienced designers who have previously worked for consulting engineering firms.  This is not an entry level position, so students without experience need not apply.

Disciplines:

• Openings available for both mechanical and electrical designers

Requirements:

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing design, electrical or lighting design.
• Must have work experience for mechanical/electrical consultant
• Minimum 4 years experience
• Fluent knowledge of AutoCADD

Preferences (but not requirements):

• Bilingual English-Spanish
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Description:

• Work as a member of a design team under the direct supervision of an experienced engineer
• Design mechanical and electrical systems (plumbing, HVAC, lighting, power and instrument/control systems) for industrial facilities, municipal buildings, educational buildings, and commercial buildings
• Learn how to organize work in an efficient manner and to effectively multitask
