Steam Plant

Bath Engineering Corporation joined with Triton Marine Construction Corporation to perform this $8.5 million design/build project in Washington.

The scope of work called for the design and construction of 63 decentralized heating plants and the decommissioning of an existing 90,000 lb./hr., high pressure steam system and boiler plant.  The new facilities designed by Bath included infrared heat for helicopter hangars, new steam systems, new hot water systems, conversion of steam air handlers to hot water air handlers, new ventilation systems for maintenance garages, new hot water systems for the officer and enlisted quarters, and a new digital control system.
