Steve Alschuler, P.E.

Steve's early career included engineering positions for Trane Corporation and Johnson Controls. He later founded an independent controls and automation company that served clients in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. The experienced he gained as a designer, installer, and troubleshooter of control and instrumentation systems provided the ideal foundation for Mr. Alschuler’s eventual transition into consulting engineering and commissioning.

He is recognized nationally as an expert in the field of building commissioning. He is a past regional Board Member of the Building Commissioning Association. He is certified as a commissioning manager by three national professional associations.  He is certified by AIA to provide continuing education seminars for architects. He has excellent knowledge of automation and controls, so he uses a hands-on approach to commissioning and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.

Steve has served as Project Manager on projects for multinational clients throughout the United States and Mexico. The scope of those projects include clean rooms, industrial process facilities, manufacturing plants, and research laboratories.

Steve earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of New Mexico.  He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Georgia. Steve is also certified as a LEED Accredited Professional.
