Position: Electrical Engineer comfortable with conducting and training others in the area of Hazardous Area Classification assessments.
Qualifications: Electrical Engineer with at least 5-10 years as an Electrical Engineer. 5 years of refinery or processing knowledge. Knowledge of engineering codes and standards including ASME, ANSI, API, ICC, NFPA 497, RP500, ISA, OSHA. Ensure installation and operations conform to specifications, codes and customer requirements. Conduct Hazardous Area Classification Assessments including:
- Developing Site Risk Assessment Methodologies
- Vapor Cloud/ Leak Source Excursion Modeling
- Compliance Safety Audits
- Develop Assessment Reports
- Compliance and Audit Training
- Management of Change Training
- Area Classification Documentation Development
- (Plot Plans, Elevations, and Details)
Talents: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Experience managing, leading and collaborating with other engineers, including training project team members. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating directly with clients. Strong focus on client satisfaction. Strong organizational skills and detail orientation. Demonstrated ability to be a self-leader and work independently without constant direction. Computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD, and engineering programs. Positive attitude and friendly disposition.
Minimum Education: BSEE from an accredited college or university REQURED.
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas.
Registration: Licensed Professional Engineer. or obtain within the first year of employment.
